Pepping Bohemian Organ Book, Part 1: Christmas
Chorale preludes and organ chorales in the style of the Bohemian brothers

Ernst Pepping (1901–1981) was a German composer, academic and teacher.  From 1922 he studied composition at the Berliner Hochschule für Musik and then in 1934, after some temporary freelance musician jobs, moved to the Spandau Church Music School in Berlin where he remained for the rest of his life.

He is considered to be one of the most important composers of Protestant Church Music of the 20th century but also composed in other genres - secular vocal music, organ works, as well as orchestral and chamber music.
