Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen - Praise ye God thruout creation BWV 51.
Kantate zum 15. Sonntag nach Trinitatis.

Bach’s famous cantata for solo soprano, trumpet, strings and basso continuo BWV 51, “Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen”, was probably composed in 1730 in Leipzig.  The soprano and trumpet parts are particularly captivating due to their virtuosity.

For a performance in Halle Bach’s oldest son Wilhelm Friedemann expanded the original scoring for numbers 1 and 4 by the addition of a second trumpet and timpani, increasing the brilliance of the work even more.

W. F. Bach’s arrangement has now been published for the first time as supplementary performance material.  This version can be combined with the existing string parts.
