Mauersberger Free Organ Works

Rudolf Mauersberger (1889-1971) was a German choral conductor and composer.  Following his training as a teacher and further studies in Leipzig, and posts in Aachen and Eisenach, in 1930 he became director of the renowned Kreuzchor in Dresden, a position he held for 40 years until his death.  His influence was significant and led the choir to international acclaim.  

Mauersberger was also an accomplished composer and we present here the Free Organ Works (1914-1916)
