The “Handel Yearbook 2015” publishes the contributions of researchers from Germany, Great Britain, Greece and the USA to the International Scientific Conference 2014 in Halle (Saale).

A broad spectrum of new research results on the subject of Handel and the music history of the House of Hanover will be presented.

In addition, the Handel Yearbook contains the keynote lecture by Colin Timms on the subject of Steffani and Handel as composers for Hanover and London, the laudation by Silke Leopold for the winners of the International Handel Research Prize of the Georg Friedrich Handel Society, some contributions from the conference 2013 “Power and powerlessness of music. Handel, the state composer ”as well as free contributions, small reports and literature recommendations.
