Hassler Intradas for 3 Trumpets and 3 Trombones (Parts)

Hans Leo Hassler (1564–1612) was a German composer and organist of the late Renaissance and early Baroque period. He was born in Nuremberg and died in Frankfurt am Main.  He bgan studying the organ with his Father before travelling to Venice in 1584 to study organ and composition with Andrea Gabrieli.  Returning to Germany he became director of music for the city of Augsburg, and then in 1608 became court organist at Dresden.  His compositional style is a fusion of German counterpoint and Italian form allowing his compositions to be fresh without affecting some of the modern experiments in harmony.
