Reicha Three Quartets Op.98 Nos.4-6 (Score)
for flute, violin, viola, violoncello

Antonín Josef Rejcha (1770-1836), an outstanding Czech composer and music theorist, lived in exile, especially in Paris, where he was an outstanding music teacher.  As a composer, he was extremely prolific, his compositions are mostly written in the style of Viennese classicism, but in their formal construction and sonically colourful instrumentation they reveal the distinctive features that were only just emerging in musical romanticism.
