Hurnik Missa Vinea Crucis

The children's choir Permoník from Karviná visited the German town of Kreuzweingarten near Cologne. The visit was so successful that the Friends of Permonik was formed. Its initiator, the priest Dr. Irrgang, invited the choir to perform a mass by a contemporary Czech composer in Cologne cathedral. The choir turned to Ilya Hurnik, who composed the mass in 1991 and called it after the Latin name of that city, Missa Vinea Crucis.
