Brunner Sonata for Piano

Adolf Brunner (1901-1992) was a Swiss composer.  Having received an early music education from his uncle, the composer Hans Lavater, he studied in Berlin 1921-1925 and became acquainted with Pepping.  After further studies in Paris and numerous journeys, he returned to Zurich in 1933 and devoted himself to compositions  He is best remembered for his church works especially the Passionsgeschichte nach dem Evangelisten Markus.
