J S Bach Suites, Marches and Lieder for Brass Ensemble (Playing Score)

The arrangement of Bach's choral settings for trombone choir is common practice.  As a supplement to and expansion of the repertoire, suitable movements from cantatas, orchestral music, organ or piano works have been selected in the present edition and adapted for brass instruments.  The short dance movements (Minuet, Gavotte, March), fantasies, fugues and lieder are particularly suitable for trumpets and trombones and can be combined into suites.  The experienced brass-choir director and horn composer Rolf Schweizer supervised the selection and supplemented the edition with notes on interpretation (German text).

- 17 four to seven-part transcriptions for brass (trombone) choir with Timpani ad lib

- Performance suggetsions by the editor, Rolf Schweizer (German text)
