Mozart Symphony No.34 in C major (K.338) (Study Score)

The final symphony from Mozart’s Salzburg period, the Symphony in C major K.338 is headed “Sinfonia di Wolfgango Amadeo Mozart mpr. li 29 Agosto, Salsbourg 1780”.  The autograph score was divided in the nineteenth century, after which each part went its separate way.  As a result, the first part (to m. 14 of the final movement) is preserved today in the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris, while the rest became the property of the former Prussian State Library in Berlin.  It then disappeared during the Second World War only to resurface in the Biblioteka Jagiellonska, Kraków, where it is preserved today.
