Telemann Trio Sonata in B-flat major for Recorder (Flute, Violin), Solo Harpsichord (Piano) & Basso continuo (TWV 42:B4) (Score & Parts)

The present trio sonata, written after 1721, gives the modern recorder player the very rare opportunity of playing with a harpsichord, an instrument regarded as a second solo instrument and equal to the recorder.  This work by Telemann is thus a counterpart to the three flute sonatas with obbligato clavier by J. S. Bach, which however are written on a much grander scale, and in which the clavier part is much more independent in its thematic writing.
