Albinoni Trio Sonata in B minor Op.1/8 for Two Violins and Basso continuo (Score & Parts)

Tommaso Albinoni (1671-1750) was one of the most creative and prominent musical personalities of the Late Baroque.  Johann Sebastian Bach based one of his fugues (BWV 951) on the fugal subject of the second movement from this Trio Sonata in B minor published here for the first time.  With its unusually rich harmonies, this work by Albinoni stands out as a musically inspired and expertly crafted masterpiece of Baroque chamber music.
