Handel Utrecht Jubilate (HWV 279) (Vocal Score)

The “Utrecht Jubilate” was composed in 1713 in celebration of the Peace of Utrecht, which ended the War of the Spanish Succession.  The “Utrecht Te Deum” was written shortly beforehand and the premiere of both works took place in St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.  This was so successful that regular performances followed over the next few years.  This new edition is based on the Urtext of the “Halle Handel Edition”.

The work can be ideally combined with the “Utrecht Te Deum” which is also available in a Bärenreiter Urtext edition (BA04246).

- Based on the Urtext of the “Halle Handel Edition”

- Straightforward well-manageable piano reduction

- Ideal companion work to the “Utrecht Te Deum” (BA04246)

- Full score, parts (BA10268) and vocal score (BA10268-90) available for sale
