Mozart Works for Organ

Although Mozart is known to have been an accomplished organist, he left behind no large-scale compositions for the organ apart from a few counterpoint exercises.  Organists and admirers of organ music are consoled to a certain extent by his pieces for mechanical organ (Flötenuhr), which can be heard every now and again in organ recitals.  It is to meet this practical demand that we have prepared a new edition of Mozart’s “organ works” based on the New Mozart Edition.
